This pair of decorative Ice Skates were based off a historical pair of 1800s French skates. Fabricated out of aluminum for weight and to match the look of high polished steel while being actor safe. An initial design and prototype was made based around a more whimsical look, but after longevity considerations the final redesigned style was chosen. Along with the woman’s pair that was custom made to attach to a pair of the actresses boots, a pair was also made to match for a men’s size 13 foot.
