A ball and socket stool that lives within the liminal space
This piece takes the mechanical attributes of a ball and socket joint and applies it to the world of furniture in an attempt to recreate the feelings of inhabiting a liminal space, or a space between spaces. Although the stool will stay relatively centered while sitting still, any movement pushes the stool out of balance, thus requires the participant to actively play a role in keeping the stool upright
